ZINA'S PRODUCE
"Eating locally and seasonally is what is closest to my heart. Bridging the gap from the farm gate to the dinner plate" is my motto. Zina Stokes
Zina's Produce is located on Route 5 - just across from Governor's Land.
Zina has fresh produce, and eggs for sale, homemade soaps, beeswax candles...the list goes on.
They're happy to do small field trips- have a pumpkin patch & petting zoo!
They're open 6 days a week- closed for a bit of rest Sundays- but have an honor system pay on this day!
Think of Zina's as our own "West End (of Williamsburg)'s Farmer's Market!!" Close to home & ready supply most anything we'd need in the produce department!

Make it A Memory - Ruth Saegesser's jewelry designs & furniture painting
Ruth Saegesser is a long time artist and jewelry making has evolved out of her creativeness. She produces unusual and mostly one of a kind jewelry. She has devoted herself to study and experimenting with some the out of the ordinary and exotic stones and styles.
She is the purveyor of fine quality, reasonably priced jewelry.
Ruth has been an artist for many years, delighting in creating items of lasting and beautiful heirlooms. She enjoys taking old pieces of furniture and restoring them and painting designs on them and putting them back in history for another hundred years. She is a member of the American Society of Decorative Artists. She has participated in Grace Covenant Presbyterian Church’s First Friday, which presents local Williamsburg artists to the community. Before moving to Williamsburg she sold her decorated items in a shop in Leesburg, Va. Also doing commission work.
Ruth has been dividing her time between Williamsburg (having moved here in 1999) and Ft Myers, FL
Her first love now seems to be producing jewelry which incorporates Swarovski and other crystal beads, sea glass, natural stones, pearls and unusual items.
Her elegant style leads to unique earrings, bracelets, exquisite watches, decorative beaded purses, and necklace combinations that are beautiful, unique and one of a kind.
She is gifted in combining style, beauty, and boldness in unforgettable jewelry.

Earth Rock Designs Jewelry by Susan Thomas
I love that Susan shared with me- that she was invloved in some Cleanup on the Potomac River on the First Offical Earth Day in 1970. She's still passionate about Earth Friendly Living and is happy to be included in our gathering to honor the same!
Check out some closeups of her designs at www.earthrockdesignsjewelry.blogspot.com

Inspiration
Inspiration is such an important part of all our lives, not just an artist’s. We are all in the process of creating something - a family, a home, a career, whatever you do during your day is your creation. - If you are inspired while doing it, joy and peace find you. Find your inspiration. J
Good Stuff
We pass things on to our good friends and we say- read this, watch this, taste this, look or listen to this - it will entertain you, make you smile, and maybe make you smarter, on the premise that if you are paying attention, then there is a message there that is supposed to land on you. . .
The good stuff is out there- you just have to be open to it. Sometimes look for it, and other times it will gently land on you like a dragonfly from a friend’s garden.
One of Jenny's mantras at this stage of her life is to "Pass the good stuff around"!
Those of us who love her & her art know that she's great at doing this- one way is just sharing her artistic talent with us all!
I must say that one of her delightful dragonfly paintings graces the shelf above my stove. Because of this - it's the first thing that I lay eyes on each am as I turn on the tea kettle to boil! Thanks for alowing me to wake me up to beautiful art every morning Jenny!
I love to share that her son Eli helps her make the earrings. She designs the 1st one, & he copies the pattern to complete the 2nd one! It's wonderful team work!
